Thank you to the Knights of Columbus from St. Anthony's Church for the generous donation of winter coats. They donated 24 coats to students who are in need this winter. Our community is excellent and supports our students. We consistently receive donations such as these from generous community members and organizations. If you have a child that does not have a winter coat, have them stop by the office. No kid should go without a warm jacket in the winter.

Check out what our 5th graders created with Legos in our STEAM Room! 6 teams of students each made a portion of this project and then puzzled it together to create this masterpiece. This is an example of using teamwork to achieve a goal!

CETUSA is looking to place an exchange student who is already living here in the area. Aly, from Spain, is an active student who loves playing basketball and is eagerly hoping to participate on the high school team. She also plays the clarinet and enjoys being in the band. Aly is in need of a new host family in a new district. She is extremely helpful around the house, is self driven, and would do well both with or without host siblings. If you could open your heart and home, please reach out to me at shd.cetusa@gmail.com. Sarah Damaska

Great News! This upcoming school year, all Kindergarten through 12th grade students will receive free lunch and breakfast. It is important to note that the USDA rules require that a complete meal must be taken for it to be free. Partial meals, such as milk only, are not free, and students will be required to purchase that at the rate of $0.50 It is still critical to complete the free and reduced lunch form. The state and federal governments use this information to determine the amount of funding schools receive. When these forms are not completed, it impacts the programming we can provide our students. Use the link below to complete the form. It takes only a few minutes to complete. You will need to have your student's ID number, which students use for library checkouts. Most students know their 5-digit number, but if you need help, please call us at 642-1200, and we can get you that number. Paper copies of this form will also be mailed out with our summer letter, which you will receive later this week; they are also available in our school office.
