Please do not send plastic caps to the Jr/Sr High School. The school is no longer participating in the program. The school has several boxes of caps that can be donated to an interested group. Check out greentreeplastics.com for all the details. Thank you!

This is a reminder that JSH Smart Start is today from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All JSH students are expected to attend at some point. The typical visit takes approximately 30 minutes or less. Unfortunately, the PTSO activities for 7th graders have been cancelled. 7th graders no longer need to attend from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Seniors should see Mr. Eisen during their visit to set up Parchment. The JSH is looking for local sponsors to help, along with local grant dollars, cover the cost of Redhawk T-shirts for all of our students and staff. We typically use funds donated by parents and families, as we try to avoid traditional fundraising. Our accounts are running a little low, though, and we are looking to retain funds for other student activities. Sponsors who donate $200 to sponsor a class (i.e. the Class of 2025) will have their business or organization's name featured on the T-shirts. Interested donors should reach out to Josh Leader at jleader@saranac schools. org or via phone at 616.642.1100. Thank you so much for your support!

Saranac Community Schools would like to extend congratulations to our fellow colleague and friend Mrs. Mo Jorgensen. Mrs. Jorgensen will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year. Mrs. Jorgensen started at Saranac in 1990 as an elementary reading teacher. She taught at the elementary school her entire time at Saranac, spending her time overseeing Title I, teaching reading, PE, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
