Wishing all our athletes the best as Fall sports wind down. 
For Cross-Country, Esther Cahill has qualified for the state meet for the second time! Congratulations and good luck as she runs this Saturday at MIS.
The football team earned a 3 seed in the playoffs and will travel to North Muskegon Saturday for the first round.
Volleyball will travel to Delton Kellogg the week of Nov 3rd for their district tournament taking on Potterville in the first round.

Safe school bus reminders

National School Bus Safety Week

Due to a cancellation by our original opponent, JV football has picked up a home game this Thursday at 6:30 PM vs. Portland St. Patrick's. This game will be played using 8-man football rules.  We are currently seeking at least one volunteer to take admission.  If you are interested,  please contact Jason Ricket at jricket@saranacschools.org or at 616.642.1100.  Thank you and go RedHawks!

There will be no school for students on Friday, October 17th and Monday, October 20th.

JSH Parents, when using the back lot for drop off, please remember that the front row of parking (closest to the building) is reserved for JSH staff. When possible, to reduce congestion, please utilize the drop-and-go line.  Thank you!

Thursday, October 2nd, the upper student parking lot will be closed due to drainage work on the softball field.  Students will need to park in the lower lot, or, if there is no room in the lower lot, in the front lot in the back row (along Pleasant St.). Thank you!

The Jonagold apples are beautiful! Get them at the last Saranac FFA apple sale today, September 30, 2025 at 3-4:30 pm in the Saranac Jr/Sr High west parking lot. Look for the red livestock trailer. 10 pounds- $7.50 and 20 pounds - $15

Reminder: Wednesday, Sept. 17th, is picture retake day at the JSH. Staff and students who missed Smart Start or need their original photos retaken will have their pictures taken. Dress sharp and smile!
