There will be no school Friday, March 14th.

Don't forget

Thank you to the amazing students, parents, family members, and community members who donated to the American Heart Association. This year, the students raised over $6,700 for the AHA, and in the last six years, the school has donated over $30,000! In celebration, students who raise $100 or more can slime Mr. Catrell or Mrs. W in a school assembly. Thank you to Mrs. Wernette for making this possible. She has a true passion for helping our students understand that helping the community is important and teaching them that there are things more important than just worrying about themselves. We love her enthusiasm, and it spreads to our students, which is evident by the success of this program!

The JSH will be hosting spring parent-teacher conferences next week, Monday and Tuesday March 10th and 11th from 3:30 PM to 7:15 PM. Instructions for reserving spots have been sent to parents via email.

Bus 240 and 243 may arrive late or not at all for some stops, as they are encountering icy roads. Attempts are being made to contact parents of students we are not able to pick up. Thank you for your patience!

We are kicking off our March is Reading Month with activities to help kids get excited about reading. Today Aimee Misiewicz from Herbrucks came in to read to Mrs. Thomas's 4th grade students!

Bus 101 is running approximately 15 minutes late due to mechanical issues. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our school counselor, Mr. Austin, taught our elementary classrooms friendship lessons. Yesterday, he became a game show host of Family Feud! He surveyed the students about what they believe are the most important character traits of being a good friend. He collected the results, and yesterday, they played Family Feud with the students. According to our survey, the top answer of what makes a good friend is KINDNESS!

Please help us to kick off March is Reading month with a Dr. Seuss-themed spirit week.

Mrs. Gallagher recognizes Allie because she always puts forth great effort! She stays on task and does her best.
Mrs. McPherson recognizes Beau because he has worked diligently to master all of his addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts in MobyMax. I can always count on him to show his best effort and show accountability with his actions.
