Current JSH juniors with SAT scores at or above the national average earned the opportunity to be exempt from semester exams and complete service projects alongside Mrs. Rasmus' 5th grade students.
The students created blankets and treats for dogs at the Ionia County Animal Shelter, built bird houses to be installed in the district, and updated the Michigan map in the elementary school parking lot.
They also enjoyed lunch and tie-dyed shirts for the SWAG team.
