The JSH is wrapping up Purple Week, the district's annual event to help raise funds and awareness for Ionia County Relay for Life and the fight against cancer. This year, we held two separate Purple Games, both against the Laingsburg Wolfpack. Fans at these games donated over $700 to the cause through Miracle MInute fundraising efforts. The halftime three point shooting contests raised an additional $175. This event is a great opportunity for the kids who comprise the purple committee to help plan an event that benefits the community and beyond. Thank you so much to Mrs. Mandy Mutschler, who has served as the lead coordinator for all of the pink and purple events over the last fourteen years!
