The senior class of 2023 received CPR/AED training today. The training was provided by Saranac FD first responders and Saranac Community Schools Nurse, Karah Smith (pictured instructing infant CPR).
Ms. Smith, along with First Responder, Kevin McGraw, organized this event. The two also set up a first responder career day to be held tomorrow for the seniors. Individuals from the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office, Saranac Fire Department, and Life EMS will be on site with their equipment and rigs to share details of their career with the students.
Next week, this group will also train our current freshman class.
