Due to recent concerns regarding threats to schools throughout Michigan and the nation, please see the statement below, which was shared by Michigan Attorney General, Dana Nessel. 

This explains the consequences of making threats against Michigan's schools. Alongside the written release, there is  a two-minute video from the Attorney General's office. 

The safety of our students and staff is of utmost importance, and all threats are taken seriously. 

If you receive a threat or know of a threat of violence against your community, please contact your School Principal, The Superintendent, or local law enforcement.

You can also leave a tip with the state’s OK2SAY hotline by calling 8-555-OK2SAY (855-565-2729) or texting 652729 (OK2SAY). The hotline operates 24/7 and protects the confidentiality of the reporter’s identity.
