2023 Students inducted into National Honor Society

On Tuesday, April 25th 2023,  Saranac Junior/Senior High School inducted four new students into the National Honor Society (NHS) during a special ceremony held in the school auditorium. The students were recognized for their academic achievements, leadership skills, and community service.

The four students who were inducted into the NHS were Tate Anible, Max Hesche, Delaney Reagen, and Landen Winsor. All of these students have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have demonstrated exemplary character and leadership qualities. The selection process for the NHS involves a rigorous evaluation of each student's academic record, extracurricular activities, and community service involvement.

During the ceremony, the four students were presented with their NHS pins and certificates, symbolizing their induction into the prestigious organization. The pins are a representation of the values of the NHS, including scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes high school students who have achieved excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. The NHS was founded in 1921 and has more than one million members in chapters throughout the United States.

The induction of Tate, Max, Delaney, and Landen into the NHS is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. They are sure to continue making Saranac High School proud as they move forward in their academic careers.
